About
As a long-standing member of the Wellum team, Dr. Schatz treats a wide variety of injuries and conditions and uses a unique combination of therapies to assist the body in restoration of normal function. These include therapeutic modalities, soft tissue release therapies, stretching techniques, core stabilization techniques, orthotics, nutritional supplementation, and clinical acupuncture.
Dr. Schatz is also actively involved in the delivery of our Wellness Programs. Prior to graduating from the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Schatz earned degrees in Biology, Human Biology, and Physical Health Educations from Queen’s University. He now treats many professional and amateur athletes and uses Lactate Threshold Testing (a technique utilized by top trainers) to set-up effective personalized fitness programs for people of all ages and abilities.
He is licensed with the Acupuncture Council of Ontario, Canadian and Ontario Chiropractic Associations, Workplace Safety Insurance Board, and United States Chiropractic Board (Certified Parts I-IV).

Dr Schatz also holds a Certified Pedorthist (CPed.C) license from the University of Western Ontario. He does extensive work in the clinic with orthotics/shoes, customized bracing, and compression socks for a wide variety of conditions. His combined Chiropractic and Pedorthic backgrounds give Dr Schatz a unique approach to the correction and assistance of many lower extremity conditions.
